Developments

  • RCV Engines has an extensive development programme transitioning the patented technology into practical gasoline fuelled IC engine units.  Current developments include an oil cooled 4-stroke 49cc 5.0 bhp power unit for use in scooters, mopeds and motorcycles.  This unit offers significantly lower manufacturing costs and operational benefits including a 1/2 speed output shaft transferring power to the CVT.

  • Other engine sizes in development include CUB and motorcycle 90cc, 110cc and 125cc versions. See table below

  • Future developments include development of practical, single and multi cylinder units for other personnel transport including, Marine and Automotive applications.
